We are looking for

Business Excellence Manager (m/f/d)

at one of our locations in EMEA region - Germany (Pfullingen)

Your tasks:

The primary focus of the role is to shape and orchestrate the Target Operating Model of a global organization, ensuring alignment between strategy, processes, systems, and structure. You will act as the architect and integrator, bringing together different organizational elements to create a cohesive, efficient, and scalable way of working

  • Development, documentation and harmonization of our end-to-end process landscape, with a strong focus on cross-functional collaboration, interface analysis, complexity reduction, and the identification of structural bottlenecks.

  • Target Operating Model, with a particular focus on the orchestration of role models, governance structures, process design, and clarification of organizational responsibilities.

  • Analysis of operational improvement opportunities, including the execution of process reviews, efficiency analyses, and quick-win initiatives.

  • Development of guidelines, templates, and standards to ensure consistent and transparent application of process-related topics.

  • Preparation and facilitation of workshops, decision meetings regarding Business

  • Excellence related topics

Job requirements

  • Education: Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field. Additional certifications in Business Process Management, Lean, or Operational Excellence are a plus.

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in: Business Excellence / Operational Excellence / Target Operating Model design.

    • Business process management and organizational transformation

    • Experience in automotive industry OR business excellence within automotive is strongly preferred

    • Proven experience in harmonizing processes across multiple entities or post-merger environments

    • Experience in manufacturing organizations is a strong advantage

  • Functional & Technical Skills:

    • Strong expertise in Target Operating Model (TOM) design and implementation

    • Deep understanding of end-to-end business processes and cross-functional alignment

    • Experience aligning strategy, organization, processes, and systems (e.g., SAP)

  • Leadership & Soft Skills:

    • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills

    • Ability to align diverse stakeholders and drive organizational buy-in

    • High level of accountability and ownership

    • Ability to think holistically and structurally (big-picture mindset)

    • Ability to navigate organizational complexity and resistance to change

  • Languages: English – mandatory (fluent), German – nice to have

  • Readness to the limited travelling (mainly Europe, occasional global exposure)
