We are looking for
Dy. Manager- Manufacturing Engineer
at one of our locations in Asia India, ( Pune Lonikand)
Your tasks:
Take the next step in your career with us in a global innovative (automotive) environment:
Lead process design and development activities for wire harness products.
Prepare development plans, monitor progress, and provide regular updates to management.
Study drawings and specifications to identify product, manufacturing, testing, and customer-specific
requirements.
Expertise in analyzing and estimating process and investment costs for wire harness product development.
Guide the team in designing and developing special-purpose machines, equipment, jigs, and fixtures for wire
harness assembly.
Apply knowledge of pneumatics, PLC programming, and integration of LVDTs, sensors, and servo motors for
automation solutions.
Mentor the team in generating innovative automation concepts and alternative equipment designs.
Lead and participate in design reviews for equipment development.
Analyze machine specifications and select appropriate machinery for wire harness manufacturing.
Identify, evaluate, and develop new suppliers for processes, production line, machines, fixtures, testers, and
automation requirements.
Implement poka-yoke solutions on assembly lines by analyzing failure modes, using past data, and applying
creative problem-solving.
Balance assembly lines through lean manufacturing principles.
Handover equipment, along with all design and validation records, to relevant departments.
Prepare and review manufacturing process documentation, including PFD, PFMEA, SC/CC characteristics,
and plant layouts; knowledge of IQS software is an added advantage.
Conduct process validation trials and establish final process parameters at assembly line stations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, Production, Sales, and Procurement) to meet design
objectives and provide product information and engineering samples.
Lead departmental initiatives by working with engineering team to resolve problems and fulfill requests from

Job requirements
Qualification:- Bachelor's Degree (Mechanical Engineering)
Mechanical Engineering with WH product and its processes
Apply extensive knowledge of IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3
Experience in design development of wire harness assembly equipments,
Automation.
Experienced in independently coordinating with customers and managing global/internal audits
Experince in special purpose equipment development and Automation
10-12 Years of Experience in Wiring Harness and Automotive Industry.
