We are looking for

Finance Manager

at one of our locations of One Mobility Group in Mexico - Auto-Kabel de México S.A. de C.V. in Ciudad Juárez

Your tasks:

The Finance Manager role is about leading the accounting function, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and group policies, safeguarding company assets, and supporting business operations through effective financial management and continuous process improvement.

  • Lead and manage the accounting department team, including conducting annual performance reviews.

  • Approve staff absences, purchase orders, and payment requests in line with company policies.

  • Ensure effective communication with support services, other accounting departments within the group, and internal teams.

  • Act as a liaison with external partners such as accountants, auditors, banks, and insurance providers.

  • Oversee compliance with accounting and tax regulations, as well as internal group procedures.

  • Manage fixed assets, cash flow, and liquidity, including payments to vendors, taxes, and salaries.

  • Monitor and report deviations or disruptions to upper management.

  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in accounting processes.

  • Apply and enforce safety, environmental, and quality standards within the department.

  • Being legal representative of the company.

Job requirements

Education: Master’s degree in Accounting.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar accounting role.

  • Proven experience in managing accounting, tax, and administrative processes in compliance with regulations.

  • Experience in handling DEB and VAT declarations, as well as meeting monthly and annual closing deadlines.

  • Track record in coordinating teams and liaising with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., auditors, banks, insurance).

Technical Knowledge: Proven experience in finance leadership roles within Maquiladora or similar tax-regulated entities in Mexico, preferably in automotive or electronics manufacturing. Strong expertise in Mexican tax regulations.

Competencies:

  • Team coordination and solid leadership

  • Strong skills in problem-solving and proposing process improvements.

  • Ability to prepare and deliver reports in required formats and timelines.

  • Strong compliance monitoring and regulatory follow-up abilities.

Languages: English and Spanish – Business Fluent
