We are looking for

Account Manager - Tier 1 Automotive

at our locations in EMEA region - in Morocco (Tanger) and Hungary (Budaörs)

Your tasks:

Customer Strategy & Business Development

  • Develop and execute a global account strategy aligned with corporate objectives, growth targets, and product roadmaps.

  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key customer stakeholders across purchasing, engineering, program management, and executive leadership.

  • Influence customer sourcing decisions, technology roadmaps, and future platform opportunities to drive sustainable growth.

  • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities, maintaining a robust pipeline and long-term growth plan.

  • Monitor customer strategies, market trends, competitive activities, and emerging technologies to identify actionable business opportunities.

Commercial Management

  • Own the commercial relationship and act as the primary customer interface for business-related matters.

  • Lead commercial negotiations, including pricing, contracts, cost recovery, engineering changes, tooling agreements, and claim resolution.

  • Drive account profitability, revenue growth, risk management, and implementation of mitigation plans.

Global Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Ensure global alignment and execution of customer strategies in collaboration with PLM, Engineering, and regional teams.

  • Facilitate governance processes, escalation management, executive decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Promote a customer-centric culture and organizational alignment around strategic account objectives.

Customer Satisfaction & Executive Communication

  • Proactively manage customer concerns, escalation risks, and business continuity challenges.

  • Prepare and deliver executive presentations, account reviews, business cases, and planning workshops.

  • Regularly communicate account performance, opportunities, risks, and strategic initiatives to leadership and customers.

  • Represent the company at executive customer meetings, industry events, and strategic forums.

Market Intelligence & Performance Management

  • Analyze OEM and Tier-1 strategies, technology trends, sustainability requirements, regulatory developments, and competitor activities.

  • Translate market insights into strategic recommendations and growth initiatives.

  • Maintain accurate forecasts, CRM data, opportunity tracking, and account performance metrics.

  • Monitor performance against growth, profitability, and strategic objectives, driving data-based decision-making.

Job requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in the automotive industry, preferably in OEM sales, Key Account Management, or Business Development.

  • Additional experience in Engineering and/or Project Management (preferred).

  • Strong knowledge of: Automotive OEM sales and customer management. Global Key Account Management. Pricing strategy and commercial negotiations. Contract management. RFQ and quotation management. APQP processes. Financial analysis and business case development. International business operations

  • Good understanding of the e-Mobility market and industry trends.

  • Experience working in international and multicultural environments.

  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage complex customer relationships and negotiations.

  • Proven ability to develop growth strategies, identify new business opportunities, and drive revenue growth.

  • Languages: Fluent English.

  • Preferred Competencies: Strong presentation and executive communication skills. Leadership and people management capability. Strong accountability and ownership mindset. Team-oriented with strong collaboration skills.
