We are looking for

Application Engineer SH

at one of our locations in China Taicang

Your tasks:

Take the next step in your career with us in a global innovative (automotive) environment:

• Master the technical details of high-voltage wire harnesses and aluminum power cable harnesses for customers’ ongoing and in-development projects, and track feedback from customers’ engineering teams.

• Timely follow up on potential project information of designated customers and explore application opportunities for products.

• Lead the formulation of preliminary design schemes for new projects based on customer-provided SOR, and prepare detailed product descriptions for quotation.

• Communicate with customers’ technical departments, provide on-site design and on-site support for relevant projects, assist customers with data filing, and complete internal drawing release.

• Assist customers in handling design changes during project development and mass production, and release relevant changes internally.

• Keep customers updated on the progress of OM projects based on information provided by project engineers.

• Design cable trays, brackets, rubber components and other parts as required by customers. 8. Complete other tasks assigned by customer.

• Bachelor’s degree or above in relevant majors.

• Minimum 3 years of working experience in wire harness design with solid professional knowledge of wire harnesses.

• Familiar with product development procedures and the full workflow of Volkswagen VOBES system.

• Proficient in CATIA for harness routing design and experienced in LDorado 2D drawing software.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.

• Basic oral English communication skills.

• Able to align with the customer’s work schedule and deliver tasks on time; overtime may be required per customer progress.

• Accept on-site assignment in Shanghai and surrounding areas.
