We are looking for a

Global Master Data Governance Lead

at one of our locations in EMEA region - Hungary (Budaörs)

Your tasks:

• Define the global master data governance vision, framework, and roadmap. 

• Establish policies, standards, ownership models, roles, processes, and decision structures. 

• Coordinate business, IT, data owners, data stewards, process owners, and SAP project stakeholders. 

• Drive global harmonization and standardization of master data. 

• Define data quality rules, KPIs, controls, and issue-resolution processes.

• Support the implementation of workflows, approvals, validations, and governance controls in SAP S/4HANA. 

• Drive communication, training, change management, and adoption.

• Report on program progress, risks, success, and business impact.

• A bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, information systems, data management, engineering, computer science, or related field.  

• Professional training or education in data governance is an advantage

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in master data management, data governance, business process management, ERP implementation, or related field. 

• Experience in SAP or ERP transformation projects, ideally SAP S/4HANA.  

• Experience working with cross-functional business stakeholders and IT teams in an international environment.  

• Experience defining or implementing governance processes, data ownership models, standards and data quality controls.

• Practical master data governance experience:

  Strong knowledge of master data governance principles, data ownership, stewardship, data lifecycle, data quality rules, issue resolution, and continuous improvement.

• ERP transformation experience:

  Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA or ERP implementation projects, including master data requirements, workflows, validation rules, and migration readiness.

• Experience with Data Warehouse and Data Lake is an advantage

• Fluent English (German is nice to have)

• Willingness to travel (50%)
