We are looking for

Regional Head of Accounting Americas

at one of our locations in Mexico - Ciudad Juárez

Your tasks:

• Lead and develop the Accounting organization across the Americas region (USA and Mexico).

• Provide regional oversight of all accounting activities and ensure compliance with Group Accounting.

• Policies, IFRS requirements and local statutory regulations.

• Manage, coach and support the Senior Accountants responsible for the individual countries within the region.

• Coordinate and escalate cross-country accounting topics, ensuring timely resolution of complex accounting matters.

• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting for all Americas entities.

• Drive consistency, standardization and harmonization of accounting processes across the region.

• Monitor balance sheet quality, account reconciliations and reporting integrity across all legal entities.

• Act as key interface between local accounting teams, Group Accounting, auditors and other finance functions.

• Support external audits, statutory reporting activities and implementation of new accounting requirements.

• Drive continuous improvement, automation and finance transformation initiatives, including SAP S/4HANA related projects.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Professional accounting qualification preferred (CPA, CMA, or equivalent).

• 5+ years of accounting leadership experience in multinational environments and experience in the manufacturing industry.

• Experience partnering with regional and global stakeholders.

• Experience supporting organizational transformation, process harmonization, or shared-service structures.

• Experience with external audits, compliance, governance, and financial controls.

• Technical Knowledge & Expertise: IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards); Local statutory reporting requirements; Internal Controls; SAP FI / SAP S/4HANA; Financial Reporting; Audit Management; Process Improvement and Standardization.

• Language Requirements: English - advanced, Spanish - fluent.

• Soft skills: People management, Teamwork, Accountability, Inclusive and decisive thinking, Proactivity and flexibility

• Willingness to travel within Mexico (1 to 3 times per quarter) and to Germany (2 times per year).
