We are looking for a Lean Manufacturing Manager (M/F) for our site located in Masevaux (68290), France.

Your missions:

Take the next step in your carrer within an innovative and international automotive environment :

Process Improvement & Lean Manufacturing:

  • Analyze production flows and identify sources of waste.

  • Lead Lean initiatives: VSM, 5S, SMED, TPM, Kaizen, standard work, Kanban, tugger train, etc.

  • Define and implement robust and sustainable operational standards.

  • Optimize workstation ergonomics and reduce cycle times.

  • Implement problem-solving methodologies (QRQC, 8D, PDCA).

  • Align activities with the Group strategy.

Project Management :

  • Support shop-floor teams in adopting Lean tools.

  • Contribute to the deployment of a continuous improvement culture across the site.

Deployment of Operational Excellence Tools :

  • Accompagner les équipes terrain dans l’appropriation des outils Lean.

  • Participer au déploiement d’une culture d’amélioration continue à l’échelle du site.

Performance Monitoring:

  • Build, improve, and track performance indicators: OEE, scrap rate, cycle time, defect rate, productivity, etc.

  • May be required to perform time and motion studies.

  • Conduct audits (e.g., ergonomics, process capability).

  • Propose corrective or preventive action plans and ensure their follow-up.

Job requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s to Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Methods, Production, Continuous Improvement, or an equivalent field.

  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a Lean / Operational Excellence role, preferably in the automotive sector (knowledge of associated requirements such as IATF 16949, ISO 9001, etc.).

  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Lean tools. Solid background in industrial methods and process flow analysis. Knowledge of quality tools (FMEA, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, etc.). Understanding of ergonomics and workstation optimization. Ability to read and interpret drawings, technical schematics, and engineering documentation.

  • Soft skills: Excellent organizational skills, strong methodological rigor, and advanced analytical thinking. Ability to drive change effectively in an operational environment.

  • Collaboration: Very good interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams. Strong capability to unite stakeholders around Lean initiatives and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.

  • Problem Solving : Proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with a strong ability to analyze root causes and deploy sustainable corrective actions.

  • Languages: Fluent French is mandatory. A good command of technical English is required to operate in an international environment.

  • A Lean certification (Green Belt or equivalent) would be a plus.
